Emergency Crews Remove Wreckage After Deadly Bus Crash in Venice

At least 21 people were killed and 18 injured after a bus plummeted off an overpass and caught fire in the Mestre area of Venice, Italy, on Tuesday night, October 3, according to officials.

The mayor of Venice, Luigi Brugnaro, described the scene as “apocalyptic” and declared a period of mourning in the city.
