Sabres' Matt Savoie used season of 'planes, trains and automobiles' to prep for NHL

Playing for five different teams in three different countries this season taught Matt Savoie the art of packing lightly. There were times over the past nine months when the Buffalo Sabres prospect didn't even bother to unpack some of his belongings. Savoie settled in with a new billet family. “I've had to move my entire life at least three times,” the 20-year-old said during an interview with The Buffalo News at the Memorial Cup in Saginaw.
