The Anaheim Mighty Ducks are pretty well out of things by now, sitting in last place in the NHL's Pacific Division. So it's looking like the team is going to deal some big-money contracts. And one of them is rumored to be the Finnish Flash, Teemu Selanne(notes), according to the Fourth Period.
In his second stint with the team, Selanne has a no-trade clause so he'll have to OK wherever he goes, but you gotta think he'd like to go play for some team that is bound for the playoffs.
He probably won't get moved till the March 3 trading deadline if he does express interest in shipping out of Anaheim. And who wouldn't want a 16-year vet who has 14 goals and seven assists so far this season and is projected to have 49 points by season's end?
