The Green Bay Packers and veteran cornerback Charles Woodson(notes) are in talks about a contract extension, according to Fox 31 Denver.

Woodson, the 33-year-old 2009 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, already has a $52 million, seven-year deal that goes through 2012 and will pay him $7.5 million this season. He had 74 tackles last season, nine interceptions, and four forced fumbles.

The extra cash would certainly help Woodson grow the wine business he has on the side, Twentyfour by Charles Woodson.
