Does Romo want Owens back with Cowboys?

It was a straightforward question from a local television host Babe Laufenberg to Tony Romo: Do you want Terrell Owens back?

"I think everybody on our team wants everybody back," Romo said. "We want to make another run and do it and show everybody that we can. I don't know. You know, I don't make any decisions. I don't pretend to think that I can control anything in that regard.

"I just think that our football team is excited to get back to work coming forward here. If everyone is back who was there last year, we're going to be going forward and we're going to be excited. We're going to do some things a little different, but we're going to be excited to go forward and hopefully get this thing done next year. It'll be exciting in the process, because we're going to work our butts off.

"But I know there's always change on the football team. I'm not talking about T.O. I'm talking about, we're going to have different guys than we had last year at a lot of different positions, I'm sure. We're bringing guys in. We'll have to get used to some others. We'll see."

Romo didn't publicly try to push T.O. out the door by any means. But his answer was a far cry from T.O.'s all-is-swell take on his relationship with Romo.

    Please take him back. The ship was really starting to sink this season and hopfully by next season it will be at the bottom of the ocean.
    Take him back so the Cowgirls can implode again. Not like they won't anyway, but Owens will just add a little kerosene to make it burn faster.

    Everyone always says owens bring so many problems to the teams he is on, but if u look at his time with the cowboys there has not been nearly as much havock as the prior teams he was on. Yea there were a couple small incidents but nothing worth making a big deal over. All cowboy fans know since T.O. has been with the cowboys we have been a force with him as a wide receiver even when he was double teamed by the defense he was still a force by opening the field for someone else. No superbowl ring yet, but with the right talent backing him up on the field and less injuries then the previous years there is one to come surely and shortly. It is a team effort not just one person. He has good numbers and stats and any REAL FOOTBALL FAN would acknowledge and give him his credit he deserves. As a loyal cowboy fan myself I will leave by saying this: No matter how much u hate T.O. (as I do too)he has problems with getting and keeping attention with the media and the fans, but in the end HE IS A VERY GOOD FOOTBALL PLAYER and an asset to this team!

    Oh and leave jessica simpson out of the picture. He is entitled to date whomever he wants, but just b/c he is a celebrity it gets aired all over. He is human just like the rest of us, but again no matter what u think he is still a good QB but has room to improve as most players do.

    Until T.o. figures out that its his mouth and the chest pounding that everyone hates,you can live with him dropping some balls but no one seems to be able to live with his mouth...with out cutting him how do you live with him? very simple break his jaw or cut his tongue out...he would have to show everyone how good he is rather than tell everyone

    What a bunch of tools. Dallas is a giant toolbox full of Jerry Jones' tools. But the problem is that he's not handy and he doesn't know how to use them. Just drop a nuke on Texas and put the rest of the country out of its misery.

    I doubt Jerry drops Terrell after extending him last year. Jerry has to be low on cash while trying to complete the Boss Hog Bowl. The only reason Jerry hasn't made a splash with a new coach is a more limited budget. Expect a lot of changes after next season.
