RB Frank Gore, whom the club touted as the central focus of the offense, played every offensive snap against the Packers last week, but touched the ball just 10 times for 68 yards (rushing and receiving). Gore ranks 20th in the NFL with 830 yards from scrimmage. He has eight touchdowns on the season, one behind his career-high in 2006.

Gore had 7 carries for 59 yards Sunday and also had a TD reception in a 30-24 loss at Green Bay.
Advice: Fantasy owners have to dismayed at the number of carries for Gore, but it was a product of the 49ers falling way behind and abandoning the run.
