Smith was fairly quiet in his first start of the 2009 season, completing 19-of-32 passes for 198 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.
Recommendation: Smith did much of his damage in the first half, throwing a 8-yard touchdown pass to tight end Vernon Davis, but was rendered ineffective in the second half as the 49ers' makeshift offensive line crumbled with Joe Staley (knee) out. He'll get a much more fantasy-friendly matchup next week against the Titans' league-worst passing defense that has allowed 282.4 pass yards per game and 19 pass touchdowns in seven games.

Smith made his first start in nearly two years as San Francisco lost 18-14 to Indianapolis on Sunday.
Advice: Smith was 19 of 32 for 198 yards with one TD and one interception. He was sacked four times behind a makeshift offensive line that may have sustained another devastating blow when left tackle Joe Staley went down on the first play of the game.
