Video: Jaylen Brown looks, plays like Stanley Johnson

Jaylen Brown - 2014 Summer Highlights Jaylen Brown is the projected No. 2 pick of the 2016 NBA Draft according to nbadraft.net.

Makes sense.

The 6-foot-7, 220-pound small forward from Wheeler (Marietta, Ga.) is the consensus No. 2 recruit from the Class of 2015 behind consensus No. 1 Ben Simmons of Montverde Academy (Fla.).

If you're looking for an NBA comparison, the player he reminded me of immediately — and I've seen it bantered about the Internet — is future NBA star and likely NCAA Freshman of the Year Stanley Johnson of Arizona.

Powerful, explosive and fluid, Brown is an end-to-end highlight reel.

MaxPreps National Basketball Editor Jason Hickman has been eyeballing Brown all season. He's been impressed at every coast-to-coast completion.

"Jaylen Brown is having a huge senior season," Hickman said. "Just the fact that he is in the conversation for National Player of the Year awards with Ben Simmons in the picture speaks volumes. He showed he is a winner by leading Wheeler to the City of Palms title and can really cement his legacy in Georgia by winning a state title."

Where he ends up in college appears to be a two-school race. According to 247Sports, Kentucky and UCLA are running neck-and-neck for the services of Brown.
