Photos: University of South Carolina women's basketball players as preps

The No. 1 seed in the Greensboro Regional in the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament just moved on to the Elite Eight, and those South Carolina Gamecocks - as expected - have plenty of players who garnered major prep accolades.

South Carolina beat North Carolina Friday by a 67-65 score in a back and forth contest to stay alive in the tournament and will do battle against Florida State Sunday for a shot at the Final Four in Tampa, Florida.

Check out these photos of some of the Gamecocks' players when they were in high school. Three of them were playing their senior high school seasons just one year ago.
