As the attention turns to the Democrats during their convention in Philadelphia, Donald Trump was clearly not ready to give up the spotlight too easily as he took to his favorite soapbox: Twitter.

The billionaire real estate mogul took aim at DNC speakers Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders in separate, 140-characters-or-less tirades.

Booker, who many have called the future of the Democratic Party, became a target as he bashed Trump’s business plans.

The New Jersey senator said: “Now, I take particular interest in the fact that Trump says he would run our country like he has run his businesses. Well, I’m from Jersey. I’m from the great Garden State, and we’ve seen the way he leads in Atlantic City. He got rich while his companies declared multiple bankruptcies.”

Trump fired back, tweeting:

The GOP presidential candidate also took aim at former Clinton rival Bernie Sanders. In a series of tweets, Trump called the Vermont senator a sellout for backing Clinton after their bitter campaign rivalry.

Trump even tried to sway Sanders supporters to cross the line and back him for president.

Following Trump's attack, Sanders hit back, saying: "Never Tweet."

Yet, the real estate tycoon’s biggest criticism came from one of his archrivals – Elizabeth Warren.

Warren went off on Trump and his business model during her address Monday night, saying: “Donald Trump goes on and on and on about being a successful businessman, but he filed business bankruptcy six times, always to protect his own money.

“Donald Trump hired plumbers and painters and construction workers to do hard labor for his businesses and then he told them to take a fraction of what they were owed and fight his lawyers for years over the rest."

Trump could not keep quiet, slamming her on Twitter:

One person who Trump did not chastise was first lady Michelle Obama, who many have hailed as the highlight thus far of the DNC. Mrs. Obama never mentioned the billionaire by name, but poked fun at his slogan, "Make America Great Again."

“Don’t let anyone ever tell you that this country isn’t great, that somehow we need to make it great again, because this right now is the greatest country on earth,” she said.
