Carlton Bragg says wrong school name in commitment, says Kentucky instead of Kansas

Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Cleveland) forward Carlton Bragg, the nation's No. 16 recruit in the 247Composite, committed to Kansas on Thursday.

However, he created a bit of confusion by accidentally announcing that he was heading to Kentucky.

"Next year I'll be playing for the University of Kentucky," the 6-foot-8 power forward said, as he slid a Kansas Jayhawks hat over his head before quickly correcting his error. "Kansas, I'm sorry."

Kentucky was a plausible destination for Bragg, as nearly 20 percent of 247 Crystal Ball picks pegged him to end up in Lexington.

Bragg is the latest big man to select the Jayhawks, following in the footsteps of Joel Embiid and Cliff Alexander. He is the first recruit in the Class of 2015 for Kansas.
