NCAA Coaching Carousel: SMU Hires Andy Enfield Ahead Of Move To ACC

Enfield burst onto the coaching scene in 2013 when, in his second year as a head coach, he guided Florida Gulf Coast to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. Enfield, 54, was hired by Southern Cal 2013, going 220-146 with five NCAA Tournament appearances, including a run to the Elite Eight in 2021. This year's USC team under-performed despite featuring star guards Isaiah Collier and Boogie Ellis, along with Bronny James, and finished 15-18, 8-12 in the last year of the Pac-12.
