    Gone, but never forgotten. Sam Rubin's son is honoring the beloved late KTLA reporter after his shocking and sudden death. Colby Rubin joined the Los Angeles news station's morning broadcast on May 13 to remember his father in an emotional on-air tribute and share a heartbreaking message he wishes he had shared with Sam earlier. "You won't be at my wedding. I can't believe you're gone. I love you so much," Colby said, calling the Los Angeles legend "the kindest soul." Sam passed away on May 10 after a heart attack, his family confirmed to KTLA. He was 64. In addition to Colby, he is survived by his wife, Leslie, and three other children.
