Former Washington Wizards swingman Mike Miller(notes) is jumping on the bus with LeBron James(notes) and company and signing a deal with the Miami Heat, according to the South Florida Sun Sentinel.
The paper claims that the deal will be worth $30 million over five years.
For the dismal Wizards, the 6-8, nine-year veteran averaged 10.9 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.9 assists.
According to the Sun Sentinel, the free-agent Miller could have joined the New York Knicks or Los Angeles Clippers, with the latter offering significantly more cash than the Heat.
Meanwhile, the paper reports that all the new additions may leave free agent Udonis Haslem(notes), a longtime Dwyane Wade(notes) pal, unable to re-sign with the Heat. The New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks want him, the Sun Sentinel reports.
