A rumor was going around that Los Angeles Clippers center Chris Kaman(notes) had followed the lead of several other NBA players and signed a deal to play professionally overseas until the NBA and its players can finally figure out what should be in the next CBA.
But Kaman tweeted Sunday that no such deal has been signed, putting an exclamation point on it for extra emphasis. "No, did not sign anything!" he wrote.
Kaman was the sixth overall pick in the 2003 draft and has spent his entire career with the Clippers. He averaged 12.4 points, seven rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots per game last season.
