The Boston Celtics will have center Shaquille O'Neal(notes) back in the lineup in the very near future now that he's close to recovering from problems with his right Achilles tendon. ESPN Boston notes that a cortisone shot has helped O'Neal.

O'Neal hasn't played since Feb. 1 and a source to the Boston Herald said the shot that was given last Tuesday wasn't due to any setback and "is part of the plan to keep O'Neal on the active roster once he returns."

"I think Shaq and Jermaine [O'Neal] will both be ready to go in the next week to two weeks," Celtics general manager Danny Ainge said, according to the Herald. "I think they'll be there."
