The two Eastern Conference rivals have been going at it in the postseason for years.
Ray Allen has a message for Kentucky or any other school trying to poach the coach of his alma mater: “Danny Hurley is our guy.” In the immediate aftermath of Hurley leading UConn to its second straight NCAA championship Monday night over Purdue -- and the program's sixth overall -- the former UConn star said Kentucky needs to find someone else besides Hurley to replace John Calipari, who is expected to take over at Arkansas. “Hurley is our guy and the people of Connecticut embraced him, they love him,” Allen, the two-time NBA champion and Naismith Hall of Famer, told NJ Advance Media on the State Farm Stadium court.
