Recommendation: Allen, who has shown signs of fatigue, played a team-best 40 minutes in the game. He remains involved in various trade rumors with the February 18 deadline looming. |

G Ray Allen has been the subject of a number of trade rumors, so Danny Ainge invited him and his wife in for a talk this week. He explained that he hadn't made any calls to try to deal Allen, but that some teams had inquired about him.
It didn't bother Allen much Friday. He led Boston with 26 points and added seven rebounds in a win over New Jersey. |
