    Mets interested in Brewers' Lucroy, two relievers

    The New York Mets are in the mix for Milwaukee Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy and have shown interest in two Brewers relievers, according to the New York Daily News' Kristie Ackert. The Mets, according to Ackert, would have to package a blue-chip prospect along with catcher Travis d'Arnaud for apotential deal. The Brewers rejected a Lucroy-for-d'Arnaud deal straight up, according to Ackert. Lucroy, 30, is hitting .301 with 13 home runs and 50 RBIs, and was selected to his second All-Star Game earlier this month. The Cleveland Indians and Texas Rangers are also rumored to be interested in Lucroy. New York has also expressed interest in RHP Jeremy Jeffress, 28, who has a 2.23 ERA in 42 relief
