MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Brewers will be without another starting pitcher due to injury, as Joe Ross was officially placed on the injured list. According to a post on X from the team, Ross suffered a lower back strain against the Miami Marlins on Monday night and will be out for the next two weeks, and Tobias Myers has been recalled from Triple-A Nashville to start in his place moving forward. Ross will be the third Brewers starter placed on the IL so far this season, joining Wade Miley (60-day IL) and D.L. Hall (15-day IL).
