Player Notes
Kyle Seager was ejected from Thursday's game against the Orioles in the fifth inning.

Advice: Seager struck out looking in the top of the fifth inning and apparently didn't like the call, as he was tossed by home plate umpire John Tumpane. He went 2-for-3 with a run scored before exiting. Willie Bloomquist took over at third base.

Kyle Seager had only one hit over five at-bats in Tuesday's victory over the Padres, a three-run home run.

Advice: Seager took Ian Kennedy out to right field in the first inning to push the Mariners' lead to 4-0. The third baseman hadn't been doing much at the plate, but has started to heat up over his last five games, notching three doubles and two home runs over 21 at-bats. Seager is batting .244/.295/.412 overall with four home runs and 19 RBI.
