Player Notes
Leonys Martin launched a walk-off solo home run to end Wednesday's 6-5, 11-inning win over the White Sox, his second homer of the game.

Advice: Martin's first shot was of the two-run variety. He socked it off White Sox starter Miguel Gonzalez in the second inning. The 28-year-old outfielder waited until the bottom of the 11th to crack homer No. 2, this one coming off reliever Dan Jennings. Unfortunately for Jennings, it would finish off the game. For the season, Martin is slashing .245/.324/.427 with 13 homers, 29 RBI and 10 steals over 274 at-bats.

Leonys Martin went 2-for-3 with a double, triple and run scored in Saturday's win over the Astros.

Advice: Martin led off the sixth inning with a triple, his second of the season, and came around to score one batter later on a Robinson Cano RBI single. A hamstring injury in late May derailed what was looking to be a breakout year for the 28-year-old, and he's struggled since returning in mid-June. Martin is batting .249/.322/.418 with 11 home runs, 26 RBI, 36 runs scored and nine steals overall.
