Player Notes
Derek Norris ripped a go-ahead, three-run homer in the 11th inning of Wednesday's win over the Twins.

Advice: The A's coughed up a two-run lead in the ninth, but Norris, who didn't start the game, saved them with a longball off of Jared Burton in extras. Norris has now homered in each of his last two games and is batting .429/.467/.857 for the season. With John Jaso hitting only .176/.263/.235, Norris could start to receive more playing time.
