Advice: White Sox left-hander Hector Santiago will head to the Angels along with Diamondbacks southpaw Tyler Skaggs. Chicago is getting center fielder Adam Eaton. Trumbo is expected to play left field in 2014 for the Snakes, who have been looking for a power bat since the offseason began. Trumbo, 27, batted .234/.294/.453 with 34 home runs and 100 RBI in 159 games this past season for Anaheim and is heading to one of the more slugger-friendly parks in the major leagues.8 hours ago Rotoworld
Advice: Finally some action from this week's Winter Meetings. We're still waiting on an official announcement, but Piecoro hears that Trumbo and two players to be named later will head to the Diamondbacks while the Angels will receive Tyler Skaggs and Hector Santiago and Adam Eaton will be sent to the White Sox. The Angels were reluctant to move Trumbo, but he was their best chip to secure some upgrades in the rotation. And they were able to accomplish it here. As for the Diamondbacks, the acquisition of Trumbo should effectively take them out of the market for Shin-Soo Choo. The 27-year-old slugger is expected to play left field in Arizona and should get a boost in fantasy value while playing half of his games in a hitter-friendly ballpark.

Advice: Reports indicate that the three-way trade will send Trumbo and two prospects to the Diamondbacks, pitchers Hector Santiago and Tyler Skaggs to the Angels and outfielder Adam Eaton to the White Sox. It's not done yet, but indications are that it's quickly moving in that direction.

Advice: The latest rumor involves the Angels, Diamondbacks, and the White Sox involved in a three-way trade. Reportedly, the Diamondbacks would receive Trumbo and two prospects, the Angels would get Tyler Skaggs and Hector Santiago, and the White Sox would get Adam Eaton. Trumbo, who spent most of his time at first base and DH with the Angels last season, would play in the outfield in Arizona.

Advice: If that's the case, we're not sure what the Angels are waiting for here. Acquiring either Cahill or Skaggs would probably be sufficient enough, but getting both would be quite a coup and address a major area of need. The Diamondbacks are in the market for a power bat and are prepared to use their pitching surplus in order to do it.

Advice: The Diamondbacks have been mentioned most prominently in trade talks, but Gonzalez hears that the Angels are engaged in talks with many teams. The thought is that the 27-year-old slugger will be moved for a pitcher. Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic hears that talks with the Diamondbacks are more focused on Tyler Skaggs than Trevor Cahill.Rotoworld
Advice: Crasnick adds, however, that there's "nothing imminent." If the two sides do get something done, it's expected that either Trevor Cahill or Tyler Skaggs will head to Anaheim in the deal. The Halos could also conceivably get both pitchers if the trade were to be expanded to include more than Trumbo.Rotoworld
Advice: Rosenthal says that the Diamondbacks are "pushing," but there are "other teams in, all with improving offers." ESPN's Jayson Stark says that the Royals are one of those other clubs. The Angels aren't super thrilled about dealing Trumbo, but they understand with a barren farm system that he might be their best trade chip as they look to upgrade their rotation.

Advice: The Diamondbacks and Angels make sense as trade partners, as the Angels want pitching, something Arizona has in spades. The Angels are said to be leaning toward keeping the 27-year-old but would likely deal him for a starting pitcher that they deemed of similar value. The Diamondbacks made a hard run at Carlos Beltran before he signed with the Yankees, and Trumbo is likely just one name the team will be linked to in hopes of filling the position.Rotoworld
Advice: The Angels have been shopping Trumbo around in hopes of acquiring a starting pitcher, but Fletcher hears that they are convinced that a fair deal doesn't exist. Of course, things could change, especially with the Winter Meetings coming up and free agents going off the board. Trumbo, 27, is under team control through 2016.
