Player Notes
Mark Trumbo went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 11-5 loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Trumbo finished off the Mariners' five-run third inning with a solo home run to left field off of Evan Scribner. He's now on a seven-game hitting streak and has homered three times in his last four games. His numbers are still subpar, however, batting .246/.295/.398 with eight home runs and 24 RBI since joining the Mariners.

Mark Trumbo (knee) returned to the Mariners starting lineup on Sunday, going 1-for-3 plus a walk in a victory over the White Sox.

Advice: Trumbo was scratched from the lineup on Saturday due to soreness in his left knee, but it appears to have been a very minor issue. He's hitting .249/.293/.437 with 16 homers and 46 RBI in 105 games between the Mariners and D'Backs this season.

Sun, Aug 23 Rotoworld
Mark Trumbo was scratched from the Mariners' starting lineup on Saturday due to a sore left knee.

Advice: Brad Miller got the start in right field instead. Trumbo is considered day-to-day for now. He seems unlikely to play in Sunday afternoon's series finale against the White Sox.

Sat, Aug 22 Rotoworld
Mark Trumbo homered to give the Mariners all three of their runs off Chris Sale on Friday.

Advice: After a hideous start to his Mariners career, Trumbo has hit .290 with six homers in 131 at-bats since the beginning of July. He's still not a great mixed-league option while hitting in the bottom half of Seattle's order, but he might be good for another 8-10 homers the rest of the way.

Fri, Aug 21 Rotoworld
Mark Trumbo went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's loss to the Rangers.

Advice: Down 3-0 in the fifth, Trumbo cracked a solo home run against Rangers starter Derek Holland. It was the M's first run of the game, but the team would ultimately fall by a score of 7-2. After hitting .259/.299/.506 with the Diamondbacks over 174 at-bats, he's slashing just .240/.288/.365 across 200 at-bats with the Mariners.
