Player Notes
Blue Jays designated INF/OF Danny Valencia for assignment.

Advice: With all of the recent acquisitions that the Blue Jays have made, they were forced to make a few tough decisions on their roster and it appears that Valencia is the odd-man out. The lefty-masher was hitting .296/.331/.506 overall with seven homers and 29 RBI in 162 at-bats. He should attract interest from plenty of teams looking to upgrade their bench.
