The St. Louis Cardinals have placed Craig on the 15-day disabled list on Friday because of a left hamstring strain.
Advice: The move with Craig is retroactive to May 17. He was hitting .373 in 13 games with 19 RBIs and five home runs - all of them during a seven-game stretch. He began the season on the DL with a sore right knee.

Craig (hamstring) is expected to be placed on the disabled list before Friday's game, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Recommendation: Craig was on the DL to start the season due to November knee surgery, and was just activated on May 1. The 27-year-old was on an absolute tear since his return, going 19-for-51 with five homers and 19 RBI in just 13 games. Craig suffered a left hamstring strain during Wednesday's contest, but believed he would be back after a couple days. The team sent him back to St. Louis to see a doctor, and it now looks he'll be out a few more weeks. It's a tough break for fantasy owners, and the Cards, who have had a slew of injuries hit their outfield.
