Player Notes
DHing both games because of a tight hamstring, Colby Rasmus went 2-for-9 against the Twins on Thursday.

Advice: Rasmus was 0-for-5 with two strikeouts in the nightcap. He had been on a nice little hot streak prior to his absence, going 7-for-16 with three homers in four games.

Colby Rasmus (hamstring) is not in the Blue Jays' lineup Tuesday.

Advice: Rasmus left Sunday's game with a tight hamstring and the Jays wanted to give him an additional day of rest after the off day. He remains day-to-day. Jose Bautista is getting a start in center field in Rasmus' place.

Colby Rasmus left Sunday's game against the Orioles with a tight hamstring.

Advice: Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said after the game that the injury isn't serious and that he doesn't expect it to be an issue moving forward.

Colby Rasmus went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in the Blue Jays' 11-3 win over the Orioles on Sunday.

Advice: Rasmus hit his third home run of the season in the first inning before singling in two more in the sixth. The center fielder also scored twice. He was a triple short of the cycle but was removed before getting a chance to accomplish the feat. Still, it was a nice afternoon for the 27-year-old.

Colby Rasmus went 3-for-4 and hit his first home run Thursday in the loss to the Astros.

Advice: Rasmus got to hit second initially with Jose Reyes out, but since he didn't produce, he's been dropped back down of late. The nice game tonight merely raised his average to .176.
