May 23 Joba Chamberlain (oblique) is scheduled to throw two inning Saturday in extended spring training.

Advice: Chamberlain pitched a scoreless inning for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre over a week ago, but the Yankees didn't think he was ready yet. However, if all goes well, there's a chance he could be activated late next week. The 27-year-old has been sidelined since April 27 with a strained oblique.
