ESPN's Jayson Stark reports that the Rockies have told teams they will revisit trading Carlos Gonzalez next month or over the winter.

Advice: They evidently haven't been able to find a robust enough market for CarGo this month. Gonzalez is one of the hottest hitters in baseball with a .431/.481/.958 batting line and 11 homers over his last 18 games.

ESPN's Jerry Crasnick reports that there's a "30/70" chance that Carlos Gonzalez is traded.

Advice: The Rockies are willing to listen to offers for Gonzalez, but they apparently haven't gotten any yet to motivate them to trade the slugger. CarGo is the hottest hitter in baseball with a .431/.471/.969 batting line and 10 homers over his last 16 games. He's owed $37 million from 2016-2017.

Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com hears from a source who believes the Rockies are more likely to trade Carlos Gonzalez over the winter as opposed to this week.

Advice: We're not so sure about that, as Gonzalez has been red-hot this month. Given his injury history, this could be the perfect time for the Rockies to get aggressive. The 29-year-old is still owed $37 million from 2016-2017.

CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports that the Rockies are planning to trade outfielder Carlos Gonzalez.

Advice: And the timing couldn't be better, as Gonzalez went deep twice on Monday against the Cubs and now has 10 home runs this month. The 29-year-old is batting .278/.332/.520 with 20 home runs and 51 RBI overall this season. His injury history and contract could cause some teams to shy away, but he has the potential to be an impact bat for a contender. He's making $16 million this season and is owed $37 million from 2016-2017.

Carlos Gonzalez homered twice in a 4-for-5 effort, but the Rockies lost to the Cubs on Monday.

Advice: Gonzalez started the scoring when he drilled a two-run home run to left-center off of Kyle Hendricks in the third inning. He helped the Rockies rally for a four-run ninth inning, drilling a go-ahead two-run home run in the ninth inning against Rafael Soriano. It wasn't a lead they would hold, however. Gonzalez has been on fire in July, racking up 10 multi-hit performances in 19 games. He has 20 home runs on the season with 51 RBI and a .278/.332/.520 triple-slash line.

Carlos Gonzalez stayed red-hot on Sunday, blasting another pair of home runs and driving in six as the Rockies routed the Reds 17-7 at Coors Field.

Advice: Gonzalez delivered an RBI single to start a 10-run third inning, which he finished with a two-run homer. He wasn't finished though, as he clobbered a three-run shot in the fifth to cap off his massive afternoon. He has now hit seven home runs in his last nine games and is slashing .270/.326/.497 on the season with 18 long balls and 47 RBI.

Sun, Jul 26 Rotoworld
Carlos Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo homers in Friday's win over the Reds.

Advice: Make that five home runs in his last eight games. Who knows if the Rockies will actually deal CarGo before next Friday's non-waiver trade deadline, but the recent power surge is surely appreciated by the front office.

Fri, Jul 24 Rotoworld
Carlos Gonzalez smashed a three-run homer in Wednesday's 10-8 loss to the Rangers.

Advice: Gonzalez's three-run homer in the eighth inning tied the game at 8-all, but alas, the Rockies bullpen immediately blew the team's new-found lease on life. The outfielder would finish the game 1-for-4. After some tough sledding early in the season, the once-mighty slugger has shown signs of life in June and July and has pushed his overall slash-line to .258/.315/.455 to pair with 14 homers and 39 RBI. He's bounced back nicely from an injury-plagued 2014 and he could post a very good second half to the season if he's able to keep this going.
