May 21 Phillies placed C Carlos Ruiz on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 20, with a right hamstring strain.

Advice: Ruiz was diagnosed with a Grade 2 strain of his hamstring and is expected to miss 3-4 weeks. It's a tough blow for the Phillies, who just got Ruiz back from his suspension less than one month ago. Erik Kratz and Humberto Quintero will fill in behind the plate once again.
