Perkins gave up two runs over six innings with a career-high six strikeouts and two walks, but got a no-decision in Thursday's loss to Toronto.
Recommendation: A second quality start for Perkins. He could stick in the rotation when Scott Baker returns from the DL, but may also move to the bullpen. Either way, he's someone to grab in deeper 5x5 leagues since he could post decent strikeout totals.

Perkins made his first major league start, but the host Twins fell, 5-2, to the Boston Red Sox on Saturday.
Advice: Perkins had little trouble with David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez and Mike Lowell in the middle of Boston's lineup. They combined to go 1-for-9 with a single and no RBIs against the left-hander. Perkins gave up three runs and nine hits with three strikeouts in six-plus innings. He made 19 relief appearances for the Twins in 2007.

LHP Glen Perkins was recalled from Class-AAA Rochester and will join the rotation.
