Minnesota has had trade talks with Pittsburgh about Freddy Sanchez, Capps and John Grabow, Fox Sports reports. Recommendation: Grabow is more likely to be traded since his contract runs out at the end of the season and Capps is under Pittsburgh control until 2012. While a trade with the Twins doesn't seem imminent at this point, there's some risk Capps could be traded and lose his closer role this summer. |

RHP Matt Capps is 9-for-9 in save opportunities since Chicago catcher Geovany Soto lined a ball off his elbow May 25, including pitching a scoreless ninth to finish off the Cubs on Tuesday. Capps has converted his last 12 save opportunities and is 17-for-19 this season. |
