May 15 Shaun Marcum allowed three runs -- two earned -- over 6 2/3 innings Wednesday in a loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: It was Marcum's best start of the season by far, though he wound up taking the loss. He scattered four singles and a double while issuing only one walk and striking out three. The right-hander will carry an 0-4 record, 6.75 ERA and 1.69 WHIP into his next start against the Reds.
