Player Notes
Jeff Francoeur went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and a solo home run as the Phillies dropped Sunday's contest to the Nationals.

Advice: Francoeur got the Phillies on the board in the second inning with a solo home run off of Stephen Strasburg. He reduced the Phillies' deficit to 3-2 in the sixth inning with an RBI single. The 31-year-old did make a costly defensive misplay in the fifth inning, which led to a Nationals run. Francoeur is batting .259/.292/.424 with five home runs and 23 RBI this year.
