Recommendation: If you're in a shallow league with some depth among your relievers you might want to keep Jenks sidelined for the upcoming week but most will want to get him back in your lineup. |

The Associated Press reports Chicago White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen is optimistic CL Bobby Jenks (shoulder) will be available by Sunday, July 6. Jenks has not pitched since Sunday, June 29, because of soreness below his left shoulder. |

RHP Bobby Jenks continued to show improvement, spending the last five games on the shelf with soreness on the left side of his back. Jenks wasn't needed in the 7-1 loss anyhow, but manager Ozzie Guillen said that the hope is to have Jenks ready to go by the end of this weekend or they will have to start thinking about putting him on the DL. |

Advice: The tests came back negative, and the right-handed Jenks hopes to be available beginning Tuesday when the White Sox open a series in Kansas City. Jenks, who is 2-0 with a 1.95 ERA and 18 saves in 21 opportunities, has not pitched since Sunday. |
