Player Notes
Mariners manager Lloyd McClendon said he could use Rickie Weeks at leadoff at times this season.

Advice: "I like Rickie as a leadoff hitter, too," McClendon said. "Austin led off yesterday, Rickie is leading off today. I’m just playing with things. That’s all." Austin Jackson will serve as the leadoff hitter for the majority of the year, but Weeks, who has experience as a leadoff hitter with the Brewers, appears to be an option as well. It's something to keep in mind, but doesn't mean much for Weeks' negligible fantasy value currently.
