USAToday.com reports the Arizona Diamondbacks recalled C Robby Hammock from Triple-A Tucson.

C Robby Hammock is expected to join the D-backs from Class AAA Tucson when major league rosters expand to include players on the 40-man roster today. Hammock will serve as a third catcher. Hammock opened the season with the D-backs while C Miguel Montero recovered from a thumb injury and hit .171 in 41 at-bats in two stints with the D-backs.
