Player Notes
Justin Morneau finished 3-for-3 with a double, homer and two RBI in a loss to the Friars on Wednesday.

Advice: Morneau has clearly enjoyed his escape from Target Field to Coors, though he did his damage tonight at renowned hitter-killer Petco Park. At least in the early going, he looks like a different hitter: The veteran first sacker is slashing .354/.396/.542 with two homers and five RBI over 48 at-bats. He's had a lot of singles drop in, so the power will have to rise to compensate. It's worth noting that he hasn't hit 20 homers since 2009.

Justin Morneau hit his first home run of the season in Sunday's loss to the Giants.

Advice: Morneau launched the solo shot off Giants starter Tim Hudson in the seventh inning. It was his only hit of the game, but the veteran first baseman is still batting .325 in his first season with the Rockies. The 32-year-old hit 17 homers last season and still has some pop left in his bat.

Wed, Apr 16 Rotoworld
Justin Morneau is not in the Rockies' lineup Friday.

Advice: He's getting a day off with the Giants sending lefty Madison Bumgarner to the hill. Michael Cuddyer is playing first base, while Brandon Barnes is in right field.
