LHP Mark Buehrle doubled off the right field wall in the fourth inning Monday, his second hit in 21 at-bats with the Marlins. Buehrle, who pitched his entire career in the American League before this year, is 7-for-68 (.103) lifetime with three extra-base hits.

Buehrle earned a victory Monday as the Marlines defeated the Rockies, 7-4. He pitched 7.2 innings and allowed four runs, five hits and two walks to go along with two strikeouts.
Recommendation: Buehrle has recorded a win in three straight decisions and leveled his season record off at 4-4. If the Marlins can continue to hit well, Buehrle should pitch deep enough in most games to have a shot at coming away with a victory.
