Recommendation: Santana has been solid this season as he has a 3.24 ERA and 1.22 WHIP, but he hasn't received much run support or help from his bullpen, resulting in a 1-2 record. He has pitched only seven innings or more in one of his nine starts this season, so he may need to pitch deeper into games if he is going to increase his win total.

LHP Johan Santana allowed two runs on six hits in 6 2/3 innings while striking out five, but he got a no-decision after the Mets bullpen squandered a one-run lead in the eighth. "I'm just trying to do my job. It is tough," Santana said. "All I can do is hope these guys finish it. ... It will turn around. There will be situations when they come back and pick me up."
