LHP Jamie Moyer's recent trend of facing pitchers half his age will continue Saturday when he's opposed by Giants RHP Tim Lincecum. Moyer, 45, is the majors' oldest player. Lincecum is only 24. In his last start, Moyer faced Arizona rookie RHP Max Scherzer, who is 23. Last season, Moyer often opposed pitchers in their 40s, including Greg Maddux, David Wells, Tom Glavine and Randy Johnson. |
