    The Red Sox acquired righthander Vladimir Gutierrez from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for cash, then optioned the 28-year-old starter to Triple A Worcester. Trevor Story will be moved to the 60-day injured list and Joe Jacques has been optioned to Worcester. Gutierrez started the season with the Marlins, then was claimed off waivers by the Brewers just two weeks ago.
