The Reds lost their seventh straight game on Wednesday as the offense continues to slump.
The last week of Reds baseball has nearly been unwatchable. The good news is that it can't get any worse (if it can, I will have to start a new Netflix series). Players like CES, Will Benson, and Jeimer Candelario are massively underperforming, while players like Bubba Thompson, Nick Martini, Luke Maile, and Stuart Fairchild do not belong on a big-league roster. The Reds are now batting .209 collectively as a team, which statistically makes them the worst offensive team in all of baseball (Woof).
After the Cincinnati Reds won Monday, the buzz was Elly De La Cruz's 106.9 mph throw. It may not have been true. But most impressive, it was believable.
