Wayne County woman wins $1.52M Lotto 47 jackpot
A Wayne County woman finally won big playing the Michigan Lottery's Lotto 47 game.
The 34-year-old woman, who chose to remain anonymous, won a $1.52 jackpot after her ticket matched the numbers drawn Dec. 18 — 6-14-24-31-37-45, according to the Michigan Lottery.
"I play Lotto 47 often and I always buy my tickets online," she told the Michigan Lottery. "I checked my email the day after the drawing and had a message notifying me that I won a prize. When I clicked on it and saw that I had won the jackpot, I was in complete shock!"

She recently claimed her prize and opted to receive a one-time lump sum payment of about $1 million instead of 30 annuity payments for the full amount.
She plans to use the money to buy a new home, car and save the rest.
“Winning is a great feeling, but I’m still in shock," she said. "It doesn’t seem like this is really happening."
