UNH football game at URI called off

Apr. 3—About 19 hours before scheduled kickoff, the CAA announced that Saturday's football game between UNH and host Rhode Island was postponed because of COVID-related protocols within the UNH program.

The postponement brings the Wildcats' number of missed games to three. They have played once — March 5, a home loss to Albany — since starting their spring season.

No announcement was made regarding UNH's next scheduled game, Saturday, April 10, at home against Stony Brook.
