West Ham confirm release Ghanaian goalkeeper Joseph Anang

Ghanaian goalkeeper Joseph Anang, who has been a teammate of Mohammed Kudus, is on the verge of departing West Ham United as his contract comes to an end on June 30. Anang, 23, embarked on his journey with the Premier League club back in 2017, transitioning from a promising teenager to a member of the senior squad, despite primarily serving as a backup. Beginning his football career in Ghana with Danbort FC, Anang briefly featured for the now-defunct Ghana Premier League side Wa All Stars before making his way to England at the age of 17 to join West Ham's academy.
