Real Betis defender Félix Martí Garreta has thanked fans for their support after sustaining a serious head injury following a fall in his home that left him in intensive care. Garreta, who has been in a hospital in Spain since May 10, left the intensive care unit last Friday to move to a ward, according to a statement from the club he played for on loan this season, SD Amorebieta. "Today I want to address all of you to express my most sincere gratitude for the messages and expressions of affection that I have received during these last few weeks," Garreta, 20, wrote on X.
