Report: 49ers open to trading two first-round picks

General manager John Lynch is shopping the San Francisco 49ers' first-round draft picks.

ESPN reported Lynch let teams know he is willing and ready to trade the 13th overall pick -- acquired from the Indianapolis Colts for DeForest Buckner -- and that the team's original pick, No. 31, is also up for grabs.

The 49ers currently don't have picks in the second, third or fourth round. ESPN reported the motivation to trade the first-rounders is to accumulate additional picks, which also come with a lighter four-year financial commitment.

Lynch traded third- and fourth-round picks for wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders at the October trade deadline last year and spent his 2020 second-round pick to acquire Dee Ford from the Kansas City Chiefs.
