Dec. 21—DICKINSON — The Dickinson Police Department responded to numerous calls for service over the past week, and these are just a few highlights of the incidents that occurred at various times. These calls for service are not indicative of all calls responded to by the men and women of the Dickinson Police Department.

2:22 p.m. Officers responded to a tip of a Killdeer based runaway juvenile in Dickinson. Juvenile was not located at time of the report.

2:52 p.m. Police received a report of a civil dispute between roommates at Villard Commons.

3:26 p.m. Report of a male making threats toward a business.

9:09 p.m. Matthew Martin, 32, was arrested for simple assault following an altercation at The Hub's north Dickinson location.

1:25 a.m. Officers mediated a situation involving a caller's girlfriend's ex-boyfriend who was parked outside the caller's house and refusing to leave. The ex-boyfriend subsequently left the premises. No charges were filed.

5:29 a.m., Report of a runaway juvenile who was located and referred to child services after sneaking out.

5:12 p.m., Call reporting disorderly conduct, with the woman involved being taken to the hospital for a voluntary mental health evaluation.

8:46 p.m. An officer talked to a 14 year-old about the negative effects of smoking marijuana at the request of a parent.

11:04 p.m. A belligerent male left the Badlands Inn and Suites prior to officer arrival.

1:40 a.m. Reports of a suspicious male pushing two bicycles through the parking lot at Cenex Gas Station on 15th Street W. Police were unable to locate the man.

9:54 a.m. Hit and run accident. Minor collision in Frankie's Superpumper parking lot on Villard Street W. Second vehicle left the scene and has not been located.

3 p.m. Dustin Yates, 31, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and also cited for retail theft after allegedly stealing merchandise from Running's.

10:32 p.m. Caller reported his vehicle missing from the Army's West sports bar parking lot. Caller was going to check with friends before filing an official stolen vehicle report.

7:12 a.m. Kevin Singer, 31, arrested for retail theft after allegedly stealing items from Menards.

10:08 a.m. Truancy call. A Dickinson High School student was refusing to attend class.

11:39 a.m. Third party report of vandalism at Charbonneau Car Center. Victim declined to press charges.

2:38 p.m. Unruly juvenile at Dickinson High School who was reportedly using marijuana. Incident being handled by a school resource officer.

2:50 p.m. A canine search at Western Cooperative on 15th Street W. prompted no alerts from the dog.

2:12 a.m. Report of a man allegedly harassing his daughter's ex-boyfriend on 1st Street E.

8:09 a.m. An adult woman allegedly displayed nude pictures to a juvenile female. Case forwarded to social services.

11:30 a.m. Dakota Community Bank on 3rd Avenue W. reported a man trespassing on the premises. He was gone upon officer arrival.

2:25 p.m. Two security cameras were stolen from the hallway at Oasis Inn.

It is important to note that all individuals named in this report are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The Dickinson Police Department continues their work to keep the community safe and address any incidents that arise.
