Nike Basketball Unveils a New Kobe Bryant Sneaker

To commemorate Kobe Day 2023, Nike CEO John Donahoe confirmed the relaunch of Kobe Bryant's signature line earlier this summer during a Q4 earnings call.

Joining the reintroduction of the basketball legend's range, a brand-new sneaker will also be released via SNKRS "Live from the Archive" in North America only on August 10. The brand teased the shoe's design in a black-and-white video clip on Instagram, suspending the kicks above a basketball. Given the colorless preview, not much detail could be seen, but its low profile and silhouette bear similarities to the Kobe 8. A clock rests below reflecting numbers counting down to "08:23:23" -- the day before the relaunch of Bryant's brand -- with the official Nike Kobe logo underneath.
